Found abandoned within the boundaries of the Sharlayan Nation, the young Viera was taken in by Gleaners out doing their daily routines. The boy would soon learn the ways of a Scholar to put his innate aetheric abilities to use. Cedrik would frequent Noumenon to learn of his origins and the cause for the blackening of his limbs and the deformity of his eyes. Both of which he’d been afflicted with since birth.Studious and quiet, much preferring a book over idle conversation. Though he’s often found exploring the grounds outside of Old Sharlayan, frequently getting lost but his “pet” blue bird always helping guide him back.

Given a loaf of knight's bread and a warm coat Jasper was left to walk the cold streets of Ishgard. A warm hearted Elezen family took him in to raise him as their own. It wasn't too soon after becoming old enough to lift a sword that he chose to become a knight in the war. Though despite his adopted father being a dragoon, he chose the path of Dark Knight… but his aetheric power caused the “Darkness within him” to shine bright. His fellow knights giving him the name “Ishgard’s White Knight”A somewhat reserved individual with a lot of walls and barriers in place. A knight is only as good as their defense, even if that means defending the crippling fear he hides within him… or something like that.
